Sol Estratég(i)a is a bilingual strategic communications firm supporting advocacy, social impact, and mission-driven organizations, campaigns, and leaders navigating complex political and cultural environments.

We partner with organizations, coalitions, and leaders working at the intersection of policy, advocacy, and community to clarify their messages, strengthen their narratives, and expand their reach and influence.

Our work is grounded in cultural competence, research-driven insight, and strategic storytelling. We understand that language is not just translation — it is context, power, and access. By bridging languages and cultures, we help causes communicate and act with accuracy, dignity, and resonance, so their work is understood.

How It All Started

“I was in fourth grade when Camila joined my classroom. She had recently immigrated, spoke little English, and often sat quietly, trying to understand a world not yet built for her. We were paired together one day, and from that moment on, we became inseparable. We did homework together, studied together, and navigated school side by side until the language slowly became less of a barrier for her.

At the time, I did not have words for what I was doing. I only knew that no one should feel invisible because of the language they speak. Without realizing it, I was learning the power of bilingual storytelling and how translating more than words, including context and care, could help someone belong.

As I grew older and my own journey as an immigrant from Honduras continued, I saw that same dynamic play out on a much larger scale. Communities impacted by policy decisions were talked about, but rarely spoken with. Stories were flattened, mistranslated, or ignored altogether. Advocacy efforts failed not because the cause lacked merit, but because the message didn’t reflect the people most affected.

That realization shaped my career and ultimately led me to found Sol Estratég(i)a.

I created this consultancy because I saw a gap—and a need—for strategic communications that are not only bilingual but also culturally competent and rooted in lived experience. Sol Estratég(i)a exists to ensure that causes advancing justice are communicated with clarity, dignity, and accuracy across languages and communities. To illuminate stories that deserve to be seen, and to help organizations and leaders build strategies that truly resonate with the people they aim to serve.
